Finding deviation in patterns

That's where analytics comes in. myPlant* algorithms continuously analyze the data streamed from your engines to detect any deviations that could cause unplanned events.

Based on the data from thousands of engines, these analytics algorithms distinguish patterns of healthy engine operations and note when deviations occur.

Acting before an event takes place

When relevant deviations are detected, you are notified immediately via email or SMS. You will receive instructions on what to do—before an unplanned event has occurred.

CASE IN POINT: Engine Oil Remaining Useful Life Analytic

This analytic predicts the remaining useful life of engine oil using machine-learning algorithms and real-time engine operating data. Data is pulled automatically from the preferred oil analysis lab, eliminating the need for paper or to log into a separate site. Overall, this helps you push out your oil change intervals, maximize your oil’s life, and reduce operating costs. This and other analytics are the result of close collaboration with our midstream operators, oil analysis labs such as MobilServ, and INNIO*’s digital team.

Data Trending

Live and historic operational engine data trending has never been easier. With myPlant*'s charting tool, you can plot any standard engine data item, from power current to ignition voltage to exhaust temperature. It can even display engine alarms.

When the engine condition is not ideal, the data trending capability allows you to look deeper into engine events and operational data for an early root cause analysis.

The charting tool allows you to:

• Set any data range
• Display and filter engine alarms in a chart
• Add one or several assets to a chart
• Plot available data points for selected asset(s)

All historical data is saved indefinitely and without compressed resolution.
