Connected assets enable the myplant platform's innovative solutions
Your journey with the myplant platform starts with a connected industrial asset. Connectivity is central to this experience, and to support a seamless myplant journey, your asset must maintain a stable internet connection. You can connect any asset to myplant, independently from its manufacturer.
Key requirements
- Permanent internet connection: such as company network, fiber optic, cable, DSL, or cellular 3G/4G internet access
- Recommended connection speed: minimum 128 kB/s upload and 2 MB/s download
- Expected data volume (for INNIO engines): 250 MB – 3 GB per engine per month
Hardware requirements
You can connect any equipment to myplant.
Engines equipped with recent INNIO Group control systems enjoy a seamless connection and do not require additional hardware. To connect older INNIO Group's control system versions, or any assets not from INNIO Group, additional hardware may be required.Jenbacher engines
DIA.NE XT4, or DIA.NE XT3 with DIA.NE WIN: no additional hardware required.
Previous version of DIA.NE control systems (DIA.NE XT and DIA.NE Blue): additional hardware may be required, depending on the on-site configuration. Please contact INNIO Group's Technical Support Team for an assessment of your particular requirements.
Waukesha engines
No additional hardware is required to collect your engine-only data on engines equipped with ESM2 controls.
Additional hardware and the myplant Connectivity Box (myCoBo) are required for your driven equipment and balance-of-plant connections.
Non-INNIO Group assets
To gain a more holistic view of your site, you can connect your non-INNIO Group equipment to the myplant platform.
This may include driven equipment, auxiliaries, or non-INNIO power-generating units.
Additional hardware may be required to establish such connection, such as the installation of a myplant Connectivity Box (myCoBo).
Note: additional hardware may not be required if the needed data is already visible on the control panel installed by the INNIO Group (such as for INNIO Group auxiliaries or Master Control panels).
